I've Got 99 Problems, and Pottery Solves

Brisbane's Premiere Cafe Facility

Cream House Cafe, located in Sunnybank Hills, provides a family-friendly dining experience. We LOVE what Cream House Cafe is all about- providing space for parent’s to take a time-out from the demands of parenting life. Young kids have a space to play and to be entertained, while parents can enjoy their coffee, lunch or chat in peace.

I feel in LOVE with pottery so much, that I want to invite you into it too!

HEY!!

I’m Karina Henwood and I’m the proud owner and Ceramic Teacher at Mud 2 Mug and More.

I’ve been journeying into the magical world of Pottery for over 2 years now. A hobby that started off as my Monday night date-nights with my Husband, soon took off as something much more.

While we still enjoy the odd throwing together here and there, I’ve taken off and am running with this obsession more.

In 2022, I took a 6 months long-service leave from my role as a High School Teacher and the very first thing I signed myself up to- of course!- was a Pottery Internship at Windmill Pottery in Sheldon.

Being immersed in all things pottery, from the making of clay, to the teaching of classes, to the developing of skills in my own creation, I fell more and more in love with it.

I am now SO excited to be taking the next, natural stage for me as a born teacher, to now be openning up this studio within Cream House cafe and inviting you all into the wonderful world that is Pottery.
